However, wrapping a pallet by hand can take around 4 minutes or more. Most pallet wrapping machines are designed to accommodate regular 1200mm x 1200mm pallet sizes. The standard turntable size of our machines is 1500mm to 1650mm in diameter. The most common mast heights range from 2.2m to 2.5m.   

For larger and irregular shaped loads that don’t fit on a turntable, mobile pallet wrappers  are the ideal solution. These machines circle around the pallet to wrap the load with stretch film. Rotating turntable pallet wrapping machines can also be customised to suit larger loads. Pallet wrappers can be made with 3 metre masts for wrapping extra high pallet loads. Colour tinted stretch films can be used for branding and identification, making it easy to distinguish pallet loads during stock take, categorising, or general distribution.  White pallet wrap is ideal for wrapping heat-sensitive products as it does not attract heat like a darker stretch wrapped load. Yes, the Omni pallet wrappers come with a standard 2-year warranty. The extended 10-year warranty applies to the Tiro, Cresco and Base pallet wrapping machines only. This warranty option is free when you agree for Omni to be the sole supplier of the pallet stretch wrap used for that machine. For all other pallet wrapping machines, a 2-year warranty applies. Warranty is only valid if your machine has been serviced as required.

Inline wrapping machines and the  Superplus have automatic film attach, cut off and heat seal functionality. The Plana and Base machines have the auto cut off feature as an added option.  This feature automatically holds the film at the end of the wrapping cycle. An air device blows the film tail up and heat welds the plastic to the pallet load, preventing the loose tail from getting tangled up in any nearby objects. The process employs a ‘film catcher’ at the end of each wrapping cycle so that the next cycle can begin without having to manually attach the film to the load. 

A film roping function provides added stability to your load. At the end of the wrapping cycle, the 500mm width of stretch film is pulled down to form a thin rope. This machine then runs several more rotations around the load and base of the pallet. This firmly locks the load to the pallet, increasing the holding force. The film roping feature is only available on select models.

Pallet wrappers with a low profile turntable eliminate the need to have 3m long steep inclined ramps, a requirement for standard pallet wrappers. The turntable on the Plana  is 18mm high, therefore it only requires a 20cm access ring ramp. This very minimal incline makes pallet truck loading strain free. This turntable has 270° ramp access.
